This week meet: Lucas!
Let’s meet Lucas, this week’s future Spartan player. Lucas is currently on the Mite team flexing his defensive skills. Aside from taking the puck away from the opponent, Lucas is like most other players enjoying time on AND off the ice with his teammates. One of his favorite hockey memories was the time spent at their tournament in River Falls. Whether he is on the ice or on the soccer field, Lucas likes to recharge by enjoying his favorite food - pizza, or by watching his favorite show - Sponge Bob. He also dreams of one day becoming a professional hockey player, maybe even for his favorite team - the Colorado Avalanche. Let’s hear it for Lucas!

We want to know our Spartan player's better! Each Wednesday a player will be selected at random to be highlighted on our IGHHA website and our association Facebook page.
Please fill out the linked questionnaire below and provide as much information as you are comfortable sharing. Each post will include the player's First Name and Team Level - no other identifying information will be posted. If you feel comfortable, please include a photo as well! The photo does not need to show your player's face, an action shot is encouraged.

Try Hockey For Free Event!
Event Location:Veterans Memorial Community Center
Next event: Sept. and Nov. 2025
This event is designed to provide kids, between the ages of 4 to 9, a completely free experience to try youth hockey. Equipment is available to borrow. Coaches will be on the ice to assist your child in learning the basics. Your son or daughter does not need any previous skating or hockey experience.
